Do the right thing even when no one is looking" – follow the rules: the foundation of discipline

  • Every student should always take care to address the teachers and all members of the staff with due respect and politeness. They should be well behaved and courteous towards their companions and all those whom they meet on their way to and from the school.
  • The language in an around the school premises in English.
  • Students are responsible for their own belongings. Each article should be marked with the student’s name and class.
  • Parents are directed not to enter classrooms to see their children or teachers during school hours. They can meet teachers only on PTM days or at a time fixed by prior appointment.
  • Parents are required to inform the school if there is change in their address and telephone numbers in the form of a written application and deposit the same at the school office.
  • Leave for half day should not be asked. In case of emergency, written permission must be taken from the principal through the Class Teacher/Administrator.
  • On normal working days once the child comes to school he/she can go home only at the end of the school hours. Parents are not allowed to take their ward back during school hour unless and until there is an emergency.
  • Parents should note that no permission will be granted for early leave on Unit Test days.
  • Absence from the school without a leave sanction is not permitted except when the case is sudden illness or accident. Absence from the class must be entered in the school diary, with reason written and signed by the Parent/Guardian.
  • Absence from school to attend birthdays, excursions, festival and urgent business or study at home is never allowed.
  • Parents should record reasons for their child’s lack of punctuality or absence in the “Regularity Record” section of the School Diary and sign the same.
  • (Children when sick, especially afflicted by a contagious disease, should not be sent to school. Proper leave for the same must be applied to the Principal through the Class Teacher and/or Administrator must be applied for. A child absent due to any contagious disease will be allowed to resume classes only on submission of medical fitness certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner.)
  • If a child is very sick, then he/she should not be sent to school at all; rather than sending him/her to school and taking him/her to school and taking him/her back after weekly test.
  • Should there be any legitimate complaint, please meet the Administrator at the earliest or write to him/her and the complaint shall be addressed and looked into.
  • Any communication made by Parents/Guardian should be addressed to the Principal through the Class Teacher. The address and phone number, roll number, class and section of the child should be clearly mentioned in the application.
  • Parents are required to co-operate with the school in the attempt to help their children punctuality and discipline and taking interest in their child’s work. They should check their diary everyday and note the homework and other instruction given. They are advised to check the bags of their wards to see if any circular/notice/invitation etc.
  • Care must be taken of all school property and if any damage is done, It will be mad good by the concerned student together with the fine imposed for the offence. At times the world class of the erring student may have to pay a “joint fine’. This may be done in very special cases to make the students learn the lesson of collective responsibility and discipline.
  • Students are not allowed to wear earrings other than only small tops. No student is allowed to put on nail polish / tattoos / mehndi under any circumstances or dye his/her hair or apply any gel.
  • Parents should advice their wards not to carry valuable articles like expensive watches, transistors, cameras calculators, mobiles or jewelry to school. In case of loss of valuables, the authorities shall not undertake any responsibility.
  • If a child, after knowing fully well that he/she has been forbidden from bringing any mobile, camera, musical gadgets and still violates the rule, and brings any of these gadgets, or if any these gadgets are found in his/her possession, it shall be confiscated and not returned under any circumstances. Parents should also note that no meeting or any sort of communication will be entertained in this context with the principal.
