It gives me immense pleasure to announce that Himalayan English School was one of the first English Medium Schools in its present sense in Siliguri that helped children strive towards globaliation and become pillars to our society and nation vis-a-vis the growing European and other Western countries in the day. It was als only the fifth school in Siliguri to be affiliated to the Council of CISE, New Delhi.
Our teaching staff includes some of the best ames in town who have time and again proved their mettle in imparting quality education to those knocking at our doors. I am confident that in many more years to come, we will imbibe the best of values in our children and help them grow personally to be adept at facing imumerable and inevitable challenge they will come acrosss without fear or panic but with confidence and conviction that each challenge brings out the best in a person making them stronger and wiser" - Mr. Cherubim Ekka.
Our beloved Mr. Ekka tragically pased away on December 2nd, 2022. His funeral was conducted to the Salesian Church, Siliguri.
